Matriculation Report

The Matriculation Report is intended to provide data by cohort across all high school buildings to measure the academic requirements for students to stay within their cohort from year to year.

 

How to Run the Matriculation Report

  1. Index > Grading & Standards > Reports > Matriculation

  2. Specify the Cohort Year

  3. Click Generate Report

Do not click Generate Report multiple times. This report gathers a large amount of data and can take 2-7 minutes to complete and generate.

 

Student Information (Demographics)

The data reported in the Student Information segment is collected from Infinite Campus, Student Information, Census and Program Flags.

TIP: Use Excel Freeze Panes setting in cell F5. This will keep the student name and number on the left as you scroll right to review the data.

 

Early Warning Indicators

The data reported in the Early Warning Indicators segment is collected from Infinite Campus, Student Information Profile, Schedule, Grades, Behavior and Attendance.

Failed Final Courses:

1. If the student has a final grade of E,F,EN,AW,NP,U

Student Information > General > Grades

Final Grades will have a green background on Infinite Campus

Failing Current Courses or Scheduled without Grade:

2. If a student has a progress grade of E,F,EN,AW,NP,U

OR

Student Information > General > Grades

In Progress grades will have a yellow background on Infinite Campus

 

3. If a student has an active scheduled course with no grade or progress grade (Missing Grade)

A white background indicates a schedule course has no calculated In Progress grade.

 

A missing progress grade can indicate the student has no scores on course assignments; the course instructor has not entered a score for any assignments; OR the instructor does not have “In Progress” turned on in the Grade Calc Options setting.

The Profile card “Student To Do” provides a list of the students past due assignments from the instructors grade book.

 

 

Behavior: # of Referrals

This count is quickly found on the Behavior Card of the Profile Tab. Details can be reviewed on the Behavior tab

Absenteeism Percentage (Chronic in red)

This count is quickly found on the Attendance Tab.

Graduation Requirements

The Graduation Requirement segment collects data from Student Information, completed assessments, end of course substitutions and graduation seals.

Math 1 Competency

If the Math I assessment is 684 or higher or a substitution of 3 or more points

CCP Substitute Credit - Math 1

If the student has earned credit in a CCP Math course, it can be used to Math 1

The Competency columns evaluate data on the Infinite Campus Assessment tab. Cells with a green yes indicate the student has met that competency for graduation.

 

 

Graduation Seals

Diploma seals for students to demonstrate academic, technical and professional readiness for careers, college, the military or self-sustaining professions. Each seal allows students to demonstrate knowledge and skills essential for future success in their chosen post-high school paths.

The State Seal Information is located at the very bottom of the Graduation tab. The Matriculation report will indicate students has an In Progress seal when highlighted in yellow. Completed seals will appear green on the Matriculation extract.
