Graduation Alliance

For students who are enrolled into Graduation Alliance:

Enrollment:

  • Enrollment records will be created by the Central Enrollment office (Tonya Freeman)

  • The student should have a primary enrollment record to their home school

  • The student should have a partial (secondary) enrollment record to Administrative Tracking > Graduation Alliance

 

Courses:

  • Search the Course Master for the course the student is taking.

    • The Credit Flex course number ends with “F”. If the Credit Flex course already exists on the Course Master, submit an IC Support Ticket requesting that course be added to the Graduation Alliance course deck.

    • If the course is not available on the Course Master, submit an IC Support Ticket requesting the course to be added. Please complete the attached Course Request form

  • Select one of the following Credit Flexibility choices:

    • R - Yes, the course is a Credit Flexibility Course used for credit recovery work

    • Y - Yes, the course is a Credit Flexibility Course not used for credit recovery work

  • Select “YS” - Course is an Educational Option Course in the Educational Option field

  • The course requires a credentialed CCS teacher who will be considered as the teacher of record

Schedules:

  • There should be a Graduation Alliance blocker added to the schedule at the primary school

  • The courses taken at Graduation Alliance should be added to the Graduation Alliance deck

  • Schedule the student into the courses taken at Graduation Alliance

  • Upon completion, student must have a grade assigned

Graduation:

  • When the student has completed all graduation requirements:

    • All courses and grades must be posted to the transcript

    • The counselor must verify all credits, testing and internship hours

    • The counselor must complete the Graduation Tab

    • If the student is graduating during the winter, spring or summer graduation periods, the school does not need to submit a withdrawal if the Graduation tab is completed

    • If the student has a diploma date outside the 3 graduation ceremony dates, the school will need to submit a withdrawal through the CCSDAS
