Deleting a Schedule

Sometimes, a course will need to be removed from a student’s schedule. Before school starts, users with scheduling tool rights are able to delete courses because no attendance or grades are attached to the course. However, after the first day of school, staff do not have the ability to delete courses from a schedule, only end date them.

If a student was accidentally placed in the wrong course after the first day of school, begin by end dating the course. Next, submit a TDX ticket (Infinite Campus Ticket) to request that the course be deleted from the student’s schedule. To end date a course, click on the name of the course within the student’s schedule.  This will open the Roster Update dialog box.  Add the end date for the course and hit save.
