Behavior Letters - Manual Creation

In the event that you need to create a behavior letter manually (i.e. no internet access, Infinite Campus is not available, etc.) you can copy/paste the content of the letter you need below into Word with district letterhead and use as a temporary solution.

To copy any letter’s content, click on the link for that letter (directly below), then hover your mouse in the upper right corner of the gray panel until the “Copy” button appears. Click this button to copy the text to your clipboard.

How to Copy text

Make sure to replace text in <> brackets with actual data as indicated, i.e. <student first name> should be replaced with the student’s first name.

 

Bus Suspension Letter

Drug or Alcohol Suspension Letter (used by MS HS)

However, there may be a reduction of the suspension to three (3) days if <student.firstName> applies for evaluation/treatment of possible alcohol and/or drug use/abuse in accordance with the Columbus Board of Education policy on the use of drugs and alcohol. During the period of this suspension <student.firstName> shall not be on any property or in any building of the Columbus City School District and shall not attend any activity of the District. <student.firstName> should return to school on <customBehaviorResolution.returnDate> (or sooner if proof of evaluation/treatment is brought to me). This hearing will be conducted by a district representative on behalf of the Superintendent.  Evidence concerning the incident will be presented and <student first name>, <student first name>'s parent(s)/guardian(s), or a representative of your choice may challenge the reasons for this intended expulsion or otherwise explain <student first name>'s actions.
