Online Registration - Charter/Non-public changes
We have made changes to the Online Registration module to incorporate CNP requests for transportation. The screenshots below reflect changes our CCS families will see when completing an online registration.
We are switching to Google reCaptcha. The user will simply click the ‘I’m not a robot’ checkbox. In cases when the risk analysis engine can’t confidently predict whether a user is a human or an abusive agent, it will prompt a CAPTCHA to elicit more cues, increasing the number of security checkpoints to confirm the user is valid
A message has been added to the informational pleat instructing CNP families to call the transportation number for assistance
Verbiage has been added to the Contact Information pleat instructing CNP families that certain check boxes do not apply
A registration type drop list has been added to the Student Demographics pleat. This is a required field. CCS families must select ‘Columbus City Schools Registration’ while CNP families will select ‘Charter Non-public Transportation Request’. If the latter is selected, a drop list of CNP schools will appear.
Verbiage has been added to the submission pleat instructing CNP families that no further action is required and instructing CCS families to continue with scheduling an appointment
