ES - Using Teams

In order to make scheduling for ES students more efficient, when creating sections for teachers, we assign them a team.  Students in elementary schools will typically travel to lunch, art, music, and gym as a group, and spend the rest of the day in academic classes with the same teacher.  Therefore, we can create a team of teachers to assign to that group of students. Teams are labeled using the section number of the primary teacher. When naming a team, we use the section number, name of the primary (homeroom) teacher, and that teachers room number. For example, we have a third grade teacher named Mr. Jones is teaching section 30 in room 10. The team name would then be: 30-Jones-10.
