Find Activation Code for a Guardian
Browse to Index > Search > Student
Search for the student
Go to Index > Census > People > Relationships tab
Columbus City Schools requires a picture ID for individuals to receive registration keys and access to student information. Locate the parents name in the list. The parent must be marked as a Guardian before giving them their code. The individual have the Portal checkbox checked to access the Parent Portal. If you have any questions regarding the guardian’s custody of the student, please contact, Central Enrollment, Division of the Registrar at (614) 365-4011.
Click the parent's name, then click the Demographics tab. You will find their Activation Code in the box labeled "Person GUID"
Tip
Instead of writing this number down, you can print the Person Summary Report (see screenshot below) and give to the parent.
