Process to Input Industry Credentials in Infinite Campus
Step 1- Documents Tab
Each school building where the credential was earned is responsible for loading the certificate in Infinite Campus under the Documents Tab for each student. Each certificate must be loaded
separately. Certificates should never be emailed, submitted in a Google Form or brought to the Career-Technical Education (CTE) Office. This document includes step-by-step directions to upload documents into Infinite Campus. Each building administrator will determine the building procedure for Industry Credentials to be uploaded at their school. UPDATE: If an industry credential was earned OUTSIDE of CCS, the certificate needs to be uploaded with Credential Cover Sheet.
Step 2- Assessment Tab
The Career-Technical Education Office will manage the awarding of Industry Credential Points in the Infinite Campus Assessment tab. If there are any issues or questions, contact
CTECredentials@columbus.k12.oh.us or Jennifer Meade jmeade2968@columbus.k12.oh.us
User Guide for Submitting Industry Credentials in Infinite Campus
After a student has earned an industry credential, each certificate must be loaded separately in the Documents tab for the individual student. Begin by getting a PDF of the certificate.
Step 1: Search and select the name of the student.
Step 2: Click Index Tab and under the Student Information menu select General.
Step 3: Select the Documents Tab.
Step 4: Click Upload New Document.
Step 5: Select Industry Credentials from the pulldown menu for the Upload Type.
Step 6: The Date field must be completed with the date the credential was earned. Note that only one credential can be uploaded per day per student. Therefore, if loading more than one credential, select a date within a 10 day range with the same month. Ex. 02/02/23 is the date the credential was earned but the student has another
credential earned on that day. Select another day within February.
Step 7: In the Comments Field, type the name of the credential.
Step 8: Choose File and upload only one certificate as a file. Do not bundle certificates.
Step 9: Click Save.
UPDATE: A copy of an Ohio Drivers License can be uploaded as evidence to earn 1 Industry Credential point. The uploaded copy must redact (hide) the OH Drivers License Number. One suggestion is to make a copy, use a black marker to cover the OH Driver License Number and then upload it into Infinite Campus. Ohio Drivers License is not earned within CCS. A Credential Cover Sheet must be completed and submitted with a copy of the license.
UPDATE: If an industry credential was earned OUTSIDE of CCS, the certificate needs to be uploaded with Credential Cover Sheet. This allows us to accurately report funding that was used to pay for the industry credential.
