Adobe FAQs

  1. Adobe is not listed in my Symantec Streaming Agent, My Applications screen.
    1. Contact the Help Desk.  They can have a Tier II add the application for your profile. 
  2. Since I changed to Windows 7, my Adobe has never worked. What should I do?
    1. Some versions of Adobe will not interact with Windows 7. The helpdesk will have to change the version; it is not a change that can be made without administrator access.
  3. My adobe documents wont load, how do I correct this?
    1. Pull up the Symantec Streaming Agent, which is the yellow circle icon in the lower right portion of the screen. Go to My Applications, highlight Adobe and select remove. Adobe will automatically reload and this should resolve many issues with the program.
  4. How do I tell which documents are trying to load in Adobe?
    1. Any document that contains the phrase 'PDF' or the icon looks like a white square with a red triangle. (The adobe logo).
