    1. 1st Attempt to turn printer off wait 30 secs to a minute and turn back on this will bring the printer back online.

  2. How do I change the default for a printer?
    1. Open "Printers and Faxes" from start menu in windows, pick the printer you want to default, and right click to choose "default printer"
  3. What do I do when printer cartridge is low?
    1. Call Resource One at ext:6190, option 1
  4. Where is my printer I.P. displayed on the configuration page?
    1. The printer IP address is on the second page in a "Protocol" section.
  5. How can I change the name of my printer, so that I can easily identify it?
    1. Printer names are generated by the system based on the location, type of printer, and room number where it is located. In order to give it a unique name, the printer will need to be removed and re-added using the add a printer option by the IP address.
  6. My printer is printing black streaks on one side of the page. Who can resolve this issue?
    1. No. This is an issue that should be reported to the Help Desk. The agent will open a ticket for the hardware technician to come out and resolve the issue.
  7. My printer keeps jamming. Is there anything I can do to keep it from doing so?
    1. Before loading in the paper, 'fluff' the pages out. Do this by flipping through the pages to keep them from sticking together. Also make sure when the paper is refilled not too much is put in.
