When copying original course to make two semester versions, some date elements copy over (marked with (tick)) and need to be updated/changed as indicated below.  Custom data elements do NOT copy (marked with a (question)) and need to be updated.  Although there are many fields on a course, only those listed below need to be updated.  Use the value in the "Default Value" column for standard courses.  If you are creating a block course, use the value in the "Block Course Value" column.
