How to Review Data Results


Students will report when they have MISSING District defined elements on the Homeless Program entry.  Students will be removed from the data results when the homeless program has an end date that has passed or student enrollment is ended.  Students will also come off this rule when a the missing data is entered and  saved.

Required

The nighttime residence of the homeless student.

If a student's Homeless/Primary Nighttime Residence information changes, edit the existing record with the appropriate end date, then create a new homeless record with the new Homeless/Primary Nighttime Residence status.

Unaccompanied YouthIndication of whether the student is unaccompanied by a parent/guardian.
Homeless Served

Indication of whether the homeless student is being served by a McKinney-Vento program.

Start Date

Required

The first day the student was considered to be homeless.
End Date

The last day the student was considered to be homeless.  

When a student is no longer considered homeless, edit the record and enter an End Date
