For the 2020-2021 school year, there are some changes to High School math offerings.  Details are described below. Any math courses not listed here (Pre-Calculus, AP courses, IB course, Stats, etc.) have no changes and should be scheduled as before.

There is an ESL (L) and a Block (B) version of this course. There is no Special Ed (E) version. Students who are alternately assessed should follow the Integrated Math track outlined in the Special Education section below.

This course is replacing 902030 - INTEGRATED MATH III for the 2020-2021 School year.

Ohio considers Algebra II and Integrated Math III to be the same course. As we phase out the Integrated Pathway and return to the Traditional Pathway, we are changing the name of Integrated Math III to Algebra II.

Integrated Math III or Algebra II

4th level math course for students who are not ready for Pre-Calculus.

  • Ohio’s Extended-Learning Standards (OLS-E)

    • OLS-E: extended standards ensure students with significant cognitive disabilities and provided with multiple ways to learn and demonstrate knowledge.

  • Ohio’s Alternate Assessment for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD).

    • High School students

      • ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies

  • Does your student meet the criteria to take Integrated Math I-E in 9th Grade?

    • Check Section 11 of the IEP. The Outcome should read, “special education outside the regular class more than 60% of the day.”

    • Check Section 12 of the IEP.  Is AASCD selected?

    • If you’re unsure, consult with your SPED Coordinator
