Release Overview

Release notes provide the applicable personnel the ability to review enhancements, modifications and changes to Certify Scorecards. It is advised that users review the release notes carefully.

Important Reminder

  • All Rules indicated as "New" can be found in the Severity 5 - Notification of the scorecard.
  • "New" rules with this icon SEVERITY 5  => SEVERITY 1  will be moved to Severity Level 1 on the April 29, 2019 scorecard.  Remaining rule violations will impact the Data Certification Score after this date.

Attendance

  • The Infinite Campus Truancy tab records instances of the student meeting the habitually truant or excessively absent thresholds as defined in House Bill 410. This state-specific tab houses the status of a student when they meet the excessive absence and habitually truant thresholds.  The current Certify rules were reviewed and modified when possible to use the data from this tab for the student's truancy status.  The addition of Excessive Absence and Habitual Truant dates allowed for the creation of two new rules to evaluate whether the letters, teams and plans are created in compliance with House Bill 410.

Example Student on New Rules

  • The PA Limit Rules were reviewed.  There was a discrepancy in the number of absent minutes reported by Certify and the number of minutes in Infinite Campus.  These calculations have been corrected.
  • Attendance rules for student's in Pre-K and 18 years or older have been removed from the Certify scorecards.
