User Audits

To ensure the integrity of our student data, and to be compliant with internal and external auditors, we must be very diligent about who has access to view, add, change or delete student information in Infinite Campus.  Users who access Infinite Campus are given rights based on their job title, location and specific duties.  Because security rights are based on these criteria, supervisors are asked verify that the staff they supervise have the correct user roles in an annual audit.

An email is sent to each supervisor asking them to:

  1. Verify users have the correct permissions (Roles)

  1. Reply to the email (Campus User Audit) confirming or reporting any changes in roles - required for auditing and documentation purposes.  

  1. Verify that the users on the spreadsheet are the correct employees that report to them. 

 

Most of the time the name of the user role(s) provide enough information to determine what that role can do. To supplement this, please see the spreadsheet below for more detailed descriptions of each role.
