Note

NOTE: If the student was present less than 1/2 of the grading period, a grade of “N” (No Grade) should be entered as the quarter grade, not an “F”. An “N” is not factored into the GPA for the term. This grade can be changed later using the Academic Grade Change process if the student completes the appropriate work for the term in question.

If the grade remains an “N”, when the final grade calculation is done, it would be appropriate to update the divisor to get the correct quality points grade for the student.
