You are the best!

Hello everyone,

I announced this at the nurse’s meeting last Friday, but I thought that I would write it for those who attended Wednesday’s meeting. I will not be returning this school year because I will be working for Canal Winchester Local Schools. I want everyone to know that this decision did not come easily for me. I have taken great pride in being a Columbus City School Nurse and I will truly miss being a part of this phenomenal organization. Job wise - I have been mentored, supported and taught many things - one of which is how to have a voice. Hopefully I can hang on to these skills as I take on more responsibilities. Personally- during this time with you, there has been a lot going on and I have been so supported by several of you and have been at the receiving end of grace many times. For all of this I am thankful. I would like to give a shout out to those in my North Hot Pocket group- you will be missed! I would like to especially thank Kate and Amy for their leadership. I know that I am a much better nurse because of them. I truly hope that we will not be strangers and that I will see you at learning events in the future. Lastly, I ask for blessings upon you and those you hold dear. Stay safe. You are the best!
