About RTI

Response to Intervention (RTI) is a module in Infinite Campus that we are looking into using in the near future. Some basic information is below, more info to come soon.

Essential Components of RTI

Response to intervention integrates assessment and intervention within a multi‐level prevention system to maximize student achievement and reduce behavior problems. With RTI, schools use data to identify students at risk for poor learning outcomes, monitor student progress, provide evidence‐based interventions and adjust the intensity and nature of those interventions depending on a student’s responsiveness, and identify students with learning disabilities or other disabilities. The four essential components of an RTI framework are screening, progress monitoring, multi-level or multi-tier prevention system, and data-based decision making.

The RTI module in Campus is based on the recommendations from the National Center on Response to Intervention. So the structure of the plans, tiers, and interventions follows those guidelines. Some states have mandates as to the set up for this as well.

By creating plans based on type - Math, Reading, Behavior, it will allow you to not only see the effectiveness of the plan with this specific student, but also general effectiveness of specific interventions on a bigger scale.

Required fields cannot be changed.

If you enable Document Upload, you can have the PDF uploads on the RTI Documents tab.
