Persons (people who do not have student numbers or enrollments records) noted as contacts within a household who have the same name as another contact should be reviewed for duplicate entry. 

Search for the Contact

  1. Click on the Search Tab.
  2. Select Household from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the person’s name as listed on the report.
    1. Click Go.
  4. The search results will display on the Search Tab.

 

To determine if that person is associated to a student in the district:

  • Click on the person’s name in the Search results.
    • Click on the Relationships Tab.  If you do not see the             Relationships Tab:
      • Click on the Index Tab.
      • Click Censes
      • Click People.
  • If the person is in a household with your student: 
  • Check the enrollment form and/or emergency contact card to determine if the contact is still associated with the student. 
  • If the person is no longer associated with your student or any other student in the district or it is determined that it is a duplicate entry, request that the person be deleted from Infinite Campus,. 
  • Submit a campus support ticket at  http://tinyurl.com/campusform1 with the person’s name and personID number. 
  • To get the personID number, on the Search results, hover the cursor over the name.  The personID will display.  

 

If the person is an emergency contact for your student, the person should not be in the household, but a non-household member for the student:

  • End the Household membership for the person.  See Remove a Person from a Household below.
  • Create a non-household relationship on the student’s Relationships tab.  Refer to the instructions on how to Add an Emergency Contact Quick Guide.

If the person is not associated with your student and should not be in the household, end the Household membership for the person.  See Remove a Person from a Household below.

 

Remove a Person from a Household

  1. Click on the Search Tab.
  2. Choose Household from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the person’s name.
    1. Click Go.
  4. In the Search results, click on the name of the Household, not the name of the person.
  5. Click the Members Tab.
  6. Click on the person’s name.
    1. The Household Member Detail window will open.
  7. Enter the end date.  The current date can be used.
  8. Click Save.
