How to resolve violations

This is a blocker course for students who have not shown up to school but were expected to. A section of this course N90130 to span the entire school day, and enroll students into this course for attendance taking.

  • Review the names reported on the Certify Data Results table.
  • Has an Unable to Locate form been started?
  • Determine the enrollment status of the student(s) reported?

How to prevent future violations

  • Attendance Intervention Teams should monitor the "No Show" course section once students have been added to this section.
  • Begin documentation on an "Unable to Locate Form" for each student in this section.
  • The No Show course section is not a "holding" place for students not coming to school.  Attendance Intervention may be necessary to re-engage the student in an educational setting.
