Please closely monitor your Cherwell tickets and the email responses from the system.  Questions, requests for further information to complete the ticket and notes are often included in these emails.

Students must be in a household with a primary mailing address to be included in major reports such as report cards, schedules, and attendance and discipline letters.  

 

Verify the Mailing Address

Verify if Mailing is checked on the address in the student’s Household, you must first search for the household.  

Path: Index > Student Information  Census > General > People > Search

  1. Select All People  Student  from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter the Student Number or Student Name.  Click Go.
  3. Results matching the criteria will display on the Search tab.  Click on the Student name. 
  4. Click on the Household tab.
  5. Review the instructions for Editing an Address, if there is not an X under Mailing or if the address has been end dated.

If the Mailing box is checked, it’s possible that one of the student’s Guardians is in a household without an address or the address isn’t marked for mailing.  See Perform a Household Search for Each Guardian instructions below.

 

  • If the student is not in a household, refer to the instructions on how to Check Students not in a Household.
  • If there is not an address in the Household, an address can be added.  Refer to the Add an Address to a Household instructions.
  1.  If the student’s household is still displayed on the Search tab, click on the student’s name.  If not, perform a search for the student.
  •  If the student’s Summary tab set is displayed, on the Index tab, click Census, then click People to display the student’s Demographic tab set.

2. Click on the student’s Relationship tab.  

Perform a Household search for Each Guardian.

  1. Click the Search tab.
  2. Select Household from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the Student Number or Student Name.  Click Go.
  4. Results matching the criteria will display on the Search tab.  Click on the Household name. 
  5. Click on the Addresses tab.
  6. If there is not an X under Mailing, click on the address.
    1. The Household Location Detail window opens.
  7. Check the Mailing box.
  8. Click Save.


 

 

If the guardian is NOT to receive mailings for the student and is in a Household without students, the Guardian should be entered on the student’s relationship tab as a non-household relationship.  The Household can be deleted by emailing Infinite Campus support with the guardian’s name and the Household

ID number.  The Household ID number can be obtained by hovering the cursor

over the Household name on the search tab.

If the student is in a secondary household with another guardian, check the household’s address for mailing, if applicable.
