This document details how to enter an AIP into the PLP area in Infinite Campus. It includes identifying team members, both internal and external, identifying specific areas of concern and setting corresponding goals, planning meetings, and keeping track of contact made with team members/parents. 

Where to find AIP in Infinite Campus


NEW LOOK:

Search for the student, then navigate to Main Menu > Student Information > PLP (Scroll all the way down to find)

CLASSIC LOOK:

Search for the student, then navigate to Index > Student Information > PLP

The Caseload provides info about students for whom you are a team member. For students to appear here, you must have the role of team manager or service provider for at least 1 student.

Add Team Members

CLASSIC LOOK:

PATH: Index > Student Information > PLP > General > Team Members Tab

The Team Members tab/page lists the individuals who are part of a student's education team, including team managers, family and service providers. 

                  

Adding Team Members Using the Find and Link New Team Member Tool

  1. Select the Find and Link New Team Member icon. The Find New Team Member editor displays.

  2. Select the desired individual from the appropriate drop list.

  3. Assign that individual a Role.  Those assigned Team Manager or Service Provider will have the student appear in their Caseload.

  4. Click the Add Team Member button. The person will display in the Team Member Editor. The Start Date of the team membership defaults to the current date.

Create a New Plan


NEW LOOK:

PATH: Main Menu > Student Information > PLP > PLP Documents

  1. Click Main Menu button

  2. Click Student Information

  3. Scroll down until you see PLP in bold, white letters

  4. Click PLP Documents

CLASSIC LOOK:

PATH: Index > Student Information > PLP > General > Documents Tab

Remember:  School Secretaries do NOT have the security rights in Infinite Campus to create an Attendance Intervention Plan.  This must be done by one of the other team members.

The Documents tab is where the AIP is created.

  2. Click New Document

  3. Check the box next to Create Custom Form:

  4. Select IAT Meeting in the “Select a Form” drop down list

  5. Click the Create Document button

Goals and Objectives

This section should be completed during the initial team meeting.  The "Goal" section is all that needs to be completed.  The template bank has been set up in such a way that goals, objectives, and expectations can all be added to this section.  Make sure to add all parts (1-5) of the goal list.

Services

If an outside service provider is part of the intervention team, the services provided by this person or agency can be entered in this optional section.  Please note that the Service, Service Provider, and Service Position are drop-down lists.  If the provider you need is not listed here, please open a support ticket to have it added to the list.
