RETIRED - Submit a Campus Support Form (Ticket)

In Infinite Campus, click on Index > Links > Campus Support Form.


Log in to Cherwell 

You will be directed to sign-in to the Cherwell Service Management tool.

Your username must be in the format ccs\username.  For example, John Smith would log in as ccs\jsmith.  The password is the same password you use for email.

  1. Sign in 
2. Click Kingswood IT Services
3. Select Infinite Campus4. Select the Category that best fits your issue

      


Enter your information in the form

Fill out the Campus Support Form with as much information as possible.  

  1. Provide the best phone number to reach you. This can be your mobile number if you prefer.
  2. Verify that your E-Mail, and Location are accurate.  This is how we will communicate with you!
  3. Include your IP address (minimize all of your windows, it should be on your desktop in the upper right corner.  It is 4 numbers, starting with "10" with a dot (.) between them ... something like this: 10.222.15.63.  This will allow us to remote into your computer to assist.
  4. Depending on the category, you will be asked for additional information.  Providing this data will allow us to service your request faster, often before we even call you back!  


Add an attachment

  • Often times a screenshot or other attachment (like a report you are running) can be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
Click Paperclip Icon
  1. Name your attachment
  2. Provide a description
  3. Upload your file (click (plus) )


Save and Submit

  • Once the form is completely filled out, click Save at the top of the screen. 
  • Once you click Save the button changes to "Edit."  Click this button if you need to make changes to your form.

        


Email Confirmation

  • You will receive an email stating your form was submitted and will include the Incident (Ticket) number assigned to your request. 

              


Status Updates


  • You can use this number to search for and view your ticket to check its status, just type in the ticket number and click Go: 

             

  • Click the link provided to view your ticket.  
  • Scroll to the bottom section titled "Journals"
  • This section documents the progress of your ticket with our team. 
  • As the ticket is updated, a new journal entry will appear at the bottom of the Journals section.
