Best practices for students coming to CCS from other school districts

Below is a list of scenarios and a link to specific directions for each.

Previous district info:

  • district has year long courses for HS credit

Time of transfer:

  • Student enrolls in CCS after second semester begins

Student grade level:

  • 9-12

  1. Counselor determines like courses for student to be enrolled in at CCS

  2. Campus support team adds year-long version of these courses to school

  3. Section for each course is created during same time teacher is teaching the second-semester (Y) version of the course

  4. Teacher will take attendance and grade the student in this other section
