The Kindergarten staggered start exempt code is KDG. Supporting documentation for using the KDG code is Official District Calendar or a letter from the school.
Placing the KDG code on a students attendance tab at the beginning of the year can be done in batch.
- Click Index
- Click Attendance
- Click Attendance Wizard
- Attendance date = first day of school (8/23/18)
- Select "Batch" mode
- Narrow search to only Kindergarten (KG)
- Search students
- Move students from column B to column C with the "select all" button
- Use Attendance Code KDG: Staggered Start
- Select the first day the KDG code will be used (8/23/18)
- Select the time school starts (9:00AM)
- Select the last day the KDG code will be used (8/27/18)
- Select the time school ends (3:30PM)
- Because you are using Batch Mode you must put in comments. In this case you could use "staggered start"
- Click Save Attendance
