Severance and Enhanced Severance are paid within 60 days of retirement. The difference between Severance and Enhanced Severance is the amount which is paid. The eligibility to receive Enhanced Severance rather than regular severance is based solely on the amount of notice the employee gave Human Resources of their intention to retire.
