Double Scheduling Courses in a Period

The phrase “Double Scheduled in One Period” indicates that there are two courses assigned in the same period. As of SY 19/20, Infinite Campus now has a process that alerts you when this occurs, in attempt to keep students from being double scheduled in a period by mistake.  When adding a course to a student’s schedule in a period where there is already a course assinged, you will receive a warning that another course already exists.

There are instances (such as activity periods or VCAP) where a student would need to have two courses in one period. In these special circumstances, when you add a course and the Schedule Update dialog box appears, select Keep instead of Drop.

The instructions/screenshots below are for the New Look of Infinite Campus. For directions using the Classic Look of Infinite Campus, use the directions at the bottom of this page.
