PA Limit Reached Flag

When students have accrued 9 Parent Authorized Absent codes a flag must be added.  The PA Limited Reached flag will assist users when entering attendance notes.  

The instructions/screenshots below are for the New Look of Infinite Campus. For directions using the Classic Look of Infinite Campus, use the directions at the bottom of this page.

New Look of Infinite Campus

New Look Path: Search > Student Name > Flags > New > PA Flag > Enter effective date > Save

 

Classic Look

Classic Look Path: > Search for the student > Click on the student’s Flags tab

  1. Click New at the top of the screen.  The Student Flag Detail window will open.  (See below)

  2. Select the flag name from the drop-down menu.

    1. PA LIMIT REACHED

  3. Enter the current date in the Start Date field.

    1.  Enter the end date - The PA LIMIT REACHED flag will expire on the last day of the school year.  Failure to enter an end date will result in the flag rolling over to the next school year.

  4. User Warning: what is entered in this field will display when hovering the cursor over the flag.

  5. Click Save.  The flag will display next to the student’s name after refreshing the page.

TIP

In the User Warning, enter your username and date so that others know who created the flag and when as they hover their cursor over the flag.

If it is known when the flag should end, for example, an Order of Protection expires on a certain date, enter the End Date when entering the Start Date.



 



 Data Certification Rule:  

ATT 130-0050 - Students with 9 days or more equivalent Parent Authorized Absent Minutes must have PA Limit Reached. - A Certify Notification will be received for any student who has reached an accumulation of 9 Parent Authorized Absences but does not have a PA Limit Reached flag.  

Rule: ATT 130-0051 - Students with fewer than 9 days equivalent Parent Authorized Absent Minutes must have PA Limit Flag ENDED - A Certify notification will be received for any student who has a PA Limit Reached flag but does not have an accumulation of 9 Parent Authorized Absences.  If this notification is received the PA Limit Reached flag should be end dated as of the last date of the last Parent Authorized Absence.
