Senior Graduation Attendance 2018-2019
All 12th grade students that have completed their exams and will not be attending school May 28, 2019, May 29, 2019 and May 30, 2019, should be marked as Class Excused (CLS) for those days per Board Policy 5200.01*.
Additionally, please work with your school counselor to identify any 11th grade students that are also graduating this year. If these identified 11th grade students are not attending school on May 28, 2019, May 29, 2019 and May 30, 2019 due to having a full 12th grade schedule, they should also be marked as Class Excused (CLS) for those days.
Teachers should take attendance for all other students for the remaining days that week only on the attendance period that is designated by the Principal. These students are required to attend and should be marked accordingly. Schools that are taking exams that final week will need to follow the directions for the Exam Schedule Days that the Department of Information Management has provided.

Students in grade 12 may be excused from attendance for a maximum of three (3) days to prepare for graduation ceremonies.
