End of the Year Attendance Procedures 2018-2019 (Exam Schedule Days)
The district has provided an Exam Schedule for schools to follow:

EXAM WEEK - SENIORS:

Wednesday, May 22, 2019 to Friday, May 24, 2019.  Teachers will enter attendance during period designated by Principal.  See directions below for "Attendance Entry".

EXAM WEEK - UNDERCLASSMEN:

Wednesday, May 22; Thursday, May 23; Friday, May 24; Tuesday, May 28, & Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - Teachers will enter attendance during period designated by Principal (students dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on May 28 and May 29, 2019)  Graduating students will need to be Class Excused on these days (see the Senior Graduation Attendance documentation page).

Thursday, May 30, 2019 – Class Excuse all students today (except your Unable to Locate/No Show students and any students excluded from school for Behavior Resolutions), document who IS in attendance on paper rosters.  Send the list to the Attendance Office no later than noon, so that they can be entered as Class Excused, but with a comment of “Present for Exams”.

ATTENDANCE ENTRY:

Teachers need to enter attendance for only the designated attendance period directly into Infinite Campus.  Tardy students will need to sign in on the Late Arrival Log and be entered into Infinite Campus ASAP.  Students leaving the building before the dismissal time must be signed out on the Early Release Log and entered into Infinite Campus ASAP.  It is imperative that Tardies and Early Leaves are entered ASAP during these days.   The Secretary will need to choose/utilize the “daily” mode in Infinite Campus and must roll the attendance from Unknown Absences entered during the designated attendance period to Unexcused for the entire day.  Secretaries will need to uncheck the “Overwrite Existing Attendance” box, to prevent any late arrivals, early leaves or behavior related attendance from being overwritten.
