Notification for At-Risk Students
Follow the steps below to create a notification letter for students and parents to view in the Campus Portal indicating students at risk of not graduating. This notification is for students who have received a D or an F in English, Math or both as the final grade for a course.
The ‘letter’ is created as a custom form within Infinite Campus. These forms can be created in batch or one student at a time as needed.

Student Identification
There is an Ad-Hoc report that will identify students with a D or F in Math/English that can be run to see who will be getting the letter.
Use the Tool Search 🔍 and find Data Export or browse to Reporting > Ad Hoc Reporting > Data Export
Scroll down and expand the _Marks/Grades section
Click on the report titled At Risk Students - Secondary (Q2)
Choose your desired export format (CSV, PDF, etc.) and click Export
Batch Form Creation
Make sure your school is selected at the top of the screen in the current school year
Browse to Student Information > General Student Administration > Form Batch Setup
Choose the Ad Hoc Batch option, then click New
In the Module box, type ‘Counseling’ to narrow down the list
Click At Risk Not to Graduate Notice
Give this batch job a name (required), then click Save & Next
In the Find Students section, choose the Ad Hoc Filter At Risk Students - Secondary (Q2) from the drop list
In the Select Students section, the list of students in the All Students box should match the Ad Hoc filter
Click the >> button to select all students
Click Generate & Next
A prompt will indicate how many forms will be created. Make sure this number makes sense before continuing. If this is correct, click Generate to continue.
The next screen will show a list of students who had forms created.
Click Lock & Publish to allow them all to be seen in the portal.
Select the date and time you would like to publish the form, then click Lock & Publish.
Browse to one of the students and make sure the form was generated as expected.
Form Creation for Single Student
Select a Student
Browse to Student Information > General > Forms
Click New
In the Module box, type ‘Counseling’ to narrow down the list
Click At Risk Not to Graduate Notice
Review the letter to make sure it looks correct
Click Save
The form will default to Unlocked. You must lock the form for it to display in the portal
If the form is unlocked, just click on the form then click the 🔒Lock button at the bottom
Choose Lock & Publish when prompted
Once locked, you will see Locked & Published on the Forms screen
Viewing in the Parent Portal
In the Parent Portal, click Documents
Click At Risk Not To Graduate Notice to open the letter for viewing
A PDF of the letter will open in a separate window for viewing and/or printing
