Course Plan Report - Alternates (SIS-114088)

The Course Plan Report was not printing alternate courses for incoming 9th grade students who had an enrollment record in the next year's calendar. This has been corrected.

Letter Building Incorrectly Building Four Letters for Students with Primary and Secondary Addresses (SIS-111305)

The Letter Builder was incorrectly generating four letters for students who have both a primary and secondary address. This has been corrected. These students will now generate two letters, one for the primary address and one for the secondary address.

Attendance

Attendance Wizard - Attendance Day Warning (SIS-114521)

Logic used to determine whether the entered date is an attendance day has been modified to account for multiple schedule structures:

  • When a specific Schedule is selected in the Campus toolbar, that schedule is used to determine if the entered date is an attendance day.
  • When a specific Schedule is NOT selected in the Campus toolbar (Schedule field is set to All), the schedule with the highest structureID is used to determine if the entered date is an attendance day.

Behavior

Behavior Letter Wizard (SIS-113913)

When a Behavior Letter included both the Behavior Subreports for Discipline Summary and Behavior Summary, the Behavior Summary information did not print. This has been corrected.

Custom Fields and Subreports (SIS-113550)

In a previous release, the Campus Fields and Campus Subreport options were modified. As part of that work, custom fields used in Behavior were not included. This has been corrected.

On the Behavior Letter Wizard, a new Behavior Summary option has been added, called Show Custom Behavior Fields. Custom behavior events, behavior resolution and behavior response fields that may be localized for state reporting or localized for a district print on the letter when this option is marked.

When using other letter wizards throughout the product, these custom behavior options are included in the Behavior Summary subreport. This applies to:

  • Behavior Letter Wizard
  • Attendance Letters
  • Letter Designer
  • Attendance Messenger
  • Behavior Messenger
  • Message Builder

Calendars

Read-Only Calendar Rights Now Available and All Calendars Checkbox Removed (SIS-108612) [Enhancement] 

Administrators now have the ability to grant all schools and all calendars read-only Calendar Rights within Campus. This means users can now be granted the ability to select 'All Schools' and 'All Calendars' within the Campus Toolbar and have read-only data access within all tools for which they have tool rights assigned (including any reports within Campus).

To streamline calendar rights and offer additional functionality, all calendar rights are now exclusively set on the Calendar Rights tab. This means the All Calendars checkbox has been removed from the User Account tab.

For State Edition Users, the District field has also been removed from the User Account tab and 'All District' rights are now managed on the Calendar Rights tab.

NOTE: For all district users who had the All Calendars checkbox marked on the User Account tab, they have been converted to a member of the CampusAllCalsModifyRights user group. This user group enables the same rights within Campus that were previously granted via the All Calendars checkbox.

For State Edition users who had the All Calendars checkbox marked on the User Account tab, they have been converted to a member of the CampusAllCalsModifyRightsDistrict-district number user group. This user group enables the same rights within Campus that were previously granted via the All Calendars checkbox.

For State Edition users who had the All Calendars checkbox marked and 'All Districts' set on the User Account tab, they have been converted to a member of the CampusAllCalsModifyRightsAllDistricts user group. This user group enables the same rights within Campus that were previously granted via the All Calendars checkbox and a District Field set to 'All Districts'.

Users who already have Calendars Rights set to a School value of 'All Schools', Calendar value of 'All Calendars', Year value set to 'All Years', and the Modify Rights checkbox unchecked, they will have the same access as before but can now select 'All Schools' and 'All Calendars' within the Campus Toolbar and properly run reports and searches across all calendars.

Campus Learning - TurnItIn - Closed Beta (SIS-112806) [Enhancement] 

Districts who use TurnItIn to check student work for plagiarism can now integrate TurnItIn with assignments in Campus. Once Campus is configured at the district level, teachers can align assignments with TurnItIt without leaving Campus, allowing students to access via Campus Student and submit assignments via TurnItIn and allowing teachers to score assignments there.

Districts who have a license with TurnItIn should contact Campus Support to configure their system. This integration is currently in a closed beta program and is only available in select districts.

A version of the Planner has been added to Courses, which allows curriculum directors to add curriculum to all sections of a course. Users can add new curriculum items or select existing items from the Curriculum Library. Once curriculum is added to the Planner, it displays in all sections from the teacher view.

The Curriculum Planner is currently available in a limited Closed Beta testing period and is therefore only available in some districts. Once the Curriculum Planner is generally available, it will be part of the Campus Learning offering.

Campus Parent Portal (SIS-114329) [Enhancement] 

A new Campus Parent Portal application has been released, which provides redesigned tools to simplify and clarify the parent experience. This new application features a responsive design that improves visibility on mobile devices. Included are tools to view student grades and assignments as well as attendance and other reference information.

Campus Parent will continue to operate in parallel to the existing Portal as additional tools are added. Districts can enable Campus Parent in the same way they do Campus Student, in the Campus Student/Parent Settings. Districts who have already enabled Campus Student have enabled Campus Parent by default. Parents can access Campus Parent by clicking the green "Try the New Campus Parent Portal" button at the top of the Portal.

Census Verification Report - Non-Household Relationships (SIS-92294)

State-Owned Foster Care Records Incorrectly Being Removed via Batch Resync (SIS-113890)

An issue with Foster Care record publishing and syncing logic was incorrectly causing State-owned records to be deleted at the state when a batch sync was performed. This issue has been corrected.

Published records will only push down state-owned records to District Editions and insert, update, or delete record data as necessary. Batch resyncing data will only sync district-owned records to the State Edition and insert, update, and delete record data as necessary.

Currently, when a Form Administrator deactivates a form by unmarking the active checkbox, all instances of that form automatically become read-only. This includes those forms currently being edited.

The Doses Remaining/Doses Submitted values now display on an unsaved Health Office Visit record with the name of the medication.

When a medication is selected on the Health Office Visits editor, the Route and Directions for Use display in a read-only format.

There was an issue with the Doses Submitted and Remaining for a Medication increasing incorrectly when there was a refill and data was entered or modified on the Medication Detail. This has been corrected.

Text Message Length (SIS-106889) [Enhancement] 

All text messaging areas within Infinite Campus have been modified to limit the length of message templates to 400 characters.

This limitation applies to text messages only.

Any templates over the 400 character limit can no longer be saved. Users need to edit the templates to fit within the character length. Note that any Campus Fields and Subreports used in text message templates are not included in the total character count.

Based on customer feedback, the Counseling Transcript has been updated, as follows:

  • The Document Panel and Reports Panel have been modified for cosmetic changes.
  • The Comments text box on the Detail screen now respects assigned Read rights, meaning if a user only has read rights, comments cannot be added.
  • Rubrics display at the top of the score dropdown list when that rubric is assigned to the course.
  • The Master view of the Transcript has been enhanced to show more transcript records. This is the first phase of enhancements related to making better use of available space.

An IRN Override field has been added to the School tab. The CU and CN extracts have been updated to report this field necessary. See linked documentation for more information.
