The Support Center Tier 2 Enrollment Process

Tier 2 Support Center (TSC2): In school suspensions do not require the same due process as out of school suspensions because the student is not being denied educational services.
Resolutions may need to be modified after the initial entry if the student does not join the assigned zoom classes during their TSC2 assignment dates. Keep the following tips in mind before modifying the resolution:
Each student assignment IS NOT TO EXCEED FIVE (5) CONSECUTIVE DAYS; TEN (10) DAYS for the year.
Schools will be notified to adjust student’s Infinite Campus attendance data from TSC2 to “Unexcused Absent” if a student is absent on any of their TSC2 assignment dates

The TSC 2 Parent Letter is located under Forms. Select New Form, Support Center Tier 2 Notification Letter.

The following fields are required when recording a TSC2 resolution in Infinite Campus.

Resolution Assign Date: | Date the resolution is assigned |
Resolution Start Date: | First day student reports to TSC 2 |
Resolution Start Time: | Time student reports to TSC2 |
Resolution End Date: | Last day student reports to TSC2 |
Resolution End Time: | Time student is released from TSC2 |
Duration in School Days: | Number of school days the student is assigned TSC2 |
Attendance Code: | TSC2: Not recording an attendance code will result in a Certify violation. |
Behavior Admin Staff Name: | Building Administrator assigning the resolution. |
Details: | Record details specific to the resolution. Not recording an attendance code will result in a Certify violation. |
Letter Date: | Date the behavior letter is generated from Infinite Campus |
Hearing Date: | If applicable |
Hearing Time: | If applicable |
Return Date: | Date the student resumes normal classes |
Apply To: | Select the student you are applying the resolution to |
Check for Attendance conflicts: | YES If conflicts are detected and you need additional support, contact your Student Data Compliance Specialist for further directions |
Save: | Review all required fields for accuracy prior to saving |
Behavior Letter Name: | TSC2 parent letter is located under Forms tab; do not use letter wizard. A signed copy of the written notice is to be filed in the student's individual behavior file |
