20-21 Transcript Posting

Due to Remote Online learning in the first part of the 2020-2021, and students being able to complete missed work for the first part of the school year, the District Leadership Team has authorized the re-opening of the grade window in Infinite Campus for Q1, Q2 and Q3. Re-opening the grade window will allow teachers to update student grades for any of the three terms as appropriate to reflect work completed by their students. The grade window will be opened May 10, 2021 through May 14, 2021.
How does this affect transcripts?
Because the Post to Transcript process has already been run for first semester, students who are enrolled in semester courses have already had grades posted to their permanent record (transcript) in Infinite Campus. This encompasses the majority of high school credit courses since we changed to semester courses last year. Once a student’s grade is on the transcript, it cannot be updated with a teacher grade change and subsequent transcript post.
What is the solution for updating transcripts with corrected grades?
This will be a two-step process.
Step 1:
All student’s transcript grades that have been posted so far this year will be removed.
This will be done by the Infinite Campus Support team using a database script
A record of all changes will be kept to ensure accuracy
Step 2:
Infinite Campus Support team will re-post all transcript grades using the Post to Transcript tool in Infinite Campus.
This will capture the changes made by teachers, and also put back any grades/credits that did not change.
