2017 ES Report Card Updates

The Elementary Report Card Committee has made some modifications to the Elementary Report Card for 2017-18.  The biggest change (item 1 below) is how to record a students reading level.   Instead of a letter designating their current level, the standard has been simplified so that teachers need only to record whether the student is at, above, or below grade level.

A new Score Group has been added for Reading Level.

Possible scores are:

  • AT – At Grade Level
  • AB – Above Grade Level
  • BE – Below Grade Level

This replaces the old section titled "Reading Level Key"

Teachers need only choose one of the three options each quarter.


On the report card, this will appear under the new heading READING LEVEL and new standard Current Reading Level

4Combined Demonstrates self-discipline in classroom and Demonstrates self-discipline in other areas in to a single standard
