Pre-K Staggered Start

The Pre-Kindergarten staggered start exempt code is PK. Supporting documentation for using the PK code is Official District Calendar or a letter from the school.

Placing the PK code on a students attendance tab at the beginning of the year can be done in batch. 

1. Click Index

2. Click Attendance

3. Click Attendance Wizard

4. Attendance date = first day of school (8/23/18)

5. Select "Batch" mode

6. Narrow search to only Pre-Kindergarten (PS)

7. Search students

8. Move students from column B to column C with the "select all" button

9. Use Attendance Code PK: Staggered Start Pre-K

10. Select the first day the PK code will be used (8/23/18)

11. Select the time school starts (9:00AM)

12. Select the last day the PK code will be used (9/4/18)

13. Select the time school ends (3:30PM)

14. Because you are using Batch Mode you must put in comments. In this case you could use "staggered start"

15. Click Save Attendance
