LEP flag date for Kindergarten round-up (what date to use for LEP flag start date)

• When adding LEP flags for students assessed during the kindergarten round up (up to 6/30/YYYY), please use the 7/1/YYYY as the LEP flag start date.
• After 01 Jul 2017 , please use the actual date when the student is assessed

For example:

1. During the kindergarten round up, during the Spring of 2017 (until June 30th), when creating the LEP flag for a student that will start as a Kindergartener in SY 2017-2018, please use the 01 Jul 2017 date.
2. For students being assessed on  or after 01 Jul 2017 , please use the actual date (when the student is assessed) as the LEP flag start date.
