Creating a Portal Account - Parent Quick Guide**

In order to activate your portal account, you must have an Activation Key. This key is a 32-digit number that uniquely identifies each parent/guardian in Infinite Campus.

If you do not have an Activation Key, please contact your child’s school. You will be asked to provide proper identification before receiving the key.

Each parent/guardian has their own Activation Key to create their account, which can be used to access all of their children enrolled in Columbus City Schools.

Browse to the Parent Portal section of the CCS website: http://www.ccsoh.us/ParentPortal.aspx
Click on the First Time User Activation button
Enter the Activation Key
Follow the prompts to create a username and a password for your account
Enter a recovery email address when prompted - if you forget your username or password, they will be sent to this address
