---|---|
Fully Remote Learning | students are not attending a physical building and are learning from home each day - these generally fall on Wednesdays. |
Blended Learning | students are attending a physical building two days per week and at home the remainder of the week. |
Cohort | a group of students who are physically attending school on certain days of the week. |
Brick Days | In-person, onsite |
Click Days | Remote learning days for students offsite (synchronous and asynchronous) |
Synchronous Learning (SL) | Inclusive of live instruction and group or individual student work as long as the teacher is available for real-time interaction. |
Asynchronous Learning (AL) | Content aligned, grade level appropriate and planned and organized by the teacher, to allow for student-directed learning which does not include real-time interaction. Until the district moves into Blended/Hybrid Learning, Elementary Schools do not have an Asynchronous or Remote Day. Currently, Middle and High Schools do have an Asynchronous Day |
