All 12th grade students that have completed their exams and will not be attending school June 1May 26, 20212022, June 2May 27, 2021 2022 and June 3May 31, 20212022, should be marked as Class Excused (CLS) for those days per Board Policy 5200.01*.

Additionally, please work with your school counselor to identify any 11th grade students that are also graduating this year.  If these identified 11th grade students are not attending school on June 1May 26, 20212022, June 2May 27, 2021 2022 and June 3, 2021 May 31, 2022 due to having a full 12th grade schedule, they should also be marked as Class Excused (CLS) for those days.

Teachers should take attendance for all other students for the remaining days that week only on the attendance period that is designated by the Principal.  These students are required to attend and should be marked accordingly.  Schools that are taking exams that final week will need to follow the directions for the Exam Schedule Days that the Department of Information Management has provided. For   For clarification, or if you have any questions, please contact your assigned Student Data Specialist.  Alternatively, please feel free to contact Greg Wisniewski, Director of Information Management at gwisniewski2335@columbus.k12.oh.us, or call at (614) 365-2014.
