When reviewing a schedule of a the following message may appear:

End date is not within the section start and end dates.

This typically occurs when a student enrollment is ended withdrawn prior to the beginning of the section. In our start date of one or more of their courses. When the CCSDAS processes the withdraw, it end dates the student’s schedule with the withdraw date. If the student withdraws in first semester, but has second semester courses that don’t begin until mid-January, it shows an error like the one above.

In the example below, the Enrollment Editor shows this student has multiple enrollments to East HS with different start dates in the same 21-21 22 school year.

The Walk-in Schedule Scheduler shows the original schedule was ended on 12/1/2021, when the student was withdrawn. When the student returned on 1/14/2022, the sections originally scheduled for quarter 3 and quarter 4 display this error message. This occurred when the first enrollment was ended prior to the beginning of Q3happened because and end date of 12/1/2021 was automatically put on the second semester courses when the student was originally withdrawn.

To correct this issue, the sections with the error need to be deleted. In most cases, we can remove the sections from the student schedule. Submit an Infinite Campus Support ticket to have this error message removedtaken care of so that a new schedule can be created.
