Block courses are those that are completed over two periods during a semester rather than one period over the course of the entire school year. See layout below for how to schedule these courses. |

For block courses, the first half of the course should be scheduled over two periods during the first or third quarter (blue cells below). The second half of the course is scheduled over two periods during the second or fourth quarter (gray cells below).

All block courses must use the correct course number (with a “B” suffix). Do not schedule a traditional course number as a block course. |
